Meet Emily cooper Designs

One of my favorite quotes that I live by is, "Creativity takes courage." This mantra has been a guiding light throughout my journey as an artist. Speaking of journeys, mine started in the most humble way imaginable. As a kid, I was completely enamored with painting on copy paper using cheap watercolor paints. I could spend hours coloring and letting my imagination run wild. This passion for creativity blossomed over time, leading me to pursue a career in art by attending university. It's been a wild ride, but embracing a creative life has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Now, when it comes to what I love to create, flowers, fruits, and landscapes are my go-to subjects. There's something incredibly soothing about capturing the essence of nature on canvas. My inspiration often comes from legendary artists like Sandro Botticelli and Claude Monet, as well as the beauty of the natural world around me. Recently, the little wildflowers popping up after the rain have caught my eye, inspiring my latest collection. This collection was born out of a small box garden I attempted to grow on my balcony. Those tiny blooms captivated me so much that they found their way into my sketches and paintings, blossoming into the pieces you see today.

Of course, my journey hasn't been without its challenges. There are days when feelings of inadequacy creep in, but I'm fortunate to have a support system that helps me overcome these moments. I'm incredibly proud of the brand and business I'm building, slowly but surely. It's a testament to the patience and persistence that this creative journey demands.

After a hard day, my husband Josh has this amazing ability to make me laugh, which is the perfect remedy for stress. And let's not forget the comforting power of a good Dr. Pepper! Most people who know me are aware of how much I treasure spending time with my family. It's the little moments with loved ones that truly make life beautiful.
